Dr. Vandervoort is Board Certified in Orthopaedic Surgery and Sports Medicine. He completed his undergraduate study at the University of Alabama, Tuscaloosa, Alabama and received his medical degree from the University of Alabama in Birmingham, Alabama where he was a member of the Alpha Omega Alpha Honor Medical Society. He completed his general surgery internship and residency at the University of Tennessee Center of Health Sciences, Memphis, Tennessee and completed his orthopaedic surgery residency at Campbell Clinic/University of Tennessee, Memphis, Tennessee. He moved to Anniston and started practicing at Anniston Orthopaedics in 1987. He and his wife, Walton, reside in Anniston. They have five children and nine grandchildren.
Dr. Tippets is a Board Certified Orthopaedic Surgeon. He completed his undergraduate study at University of Utah, Salt Lake City, Utah. He attended medical school at Uniformed Services University, Bethesda Maryland. He completed his residency at Tripler Army Medical Center in Orthopaedic Surgery in Honolulu, Hawaii and is board certified in the state of Alabama. Dr. Tippets lives in Jacksonville, Alabama with his wife and children.
Dr. Hardy is Board Certified in Orthopaedic Surgery and Sports Medicine. He completed his undergraduate study at Vanderbilt University, Nashville, Tennessee and received his medical degree from Tulane University School of Medicine, New Orleans, Louisiana. He completed his general surgery internship and residency at the University of Tennessee, Chattanooga Unit, Chattanooga, Tennessee and completed his orthopaedic surgery residency at the University of Tennessee, Chattanooga Unit, Chattanooga, Tennessee. Dr. Hardy has been with Anniston Orthopaedics since 1997. He and his family reside in Anniston, Alabama.
Dr. Weidmer is a Board Certified Orthopaedic Surgeon. He completed his undergraduate study at Vanderbilt University in Nashville, Tennessee. He received his medical degree from the University of Alabama School of Medicine in Birmingham, Alabama. He completed an internship in Orthopaedic Residency at Louisiana State University, an internship at Carraway Methodist Medical Center, and studied with Dr. Michael Saag, Department of Infectious Disease at the University of Alabama Birmingham and Vanderbilt Emergency Department. Dr. Wiedmer resides in Anniston with his family.
Dr. Tippets is a Board Certified Orthopedic Surgeon. He completed his undergraduate studies at Berry College in Rome, Georgia. He received his Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine degree from Nova Southeastern University in Ft. Lauderdale, Florida and completed his orthopedic surgery residency at Broward Health Medical Center in Ft. Lauderdale, Florida. Following residency, he completed a one-year fellowship in Sports Medicine and Joint Replacement at The Cleveland Clinic in Weston, Florida. Dr. Tippets is a native of Calhoun County. He resides with his wife and four sons in Oxford, Alabama.
Dr. Morris is dual board certified in Orthopaedics and Sports Medicine. He completed his undergraduate studies at the University of Alabama in Tuscaloosa, and received his medical degree from the University of South Alabama in Mobile. He completed an orthopedic surgery residency at the University of Alabama at Birmingham, and completed an additional one-year fellowship in Sports Medicine Orthopedic Surgery with the Andrews Institute in Gulf Breeze, Florida. Dr. Morris is married to Lucy Vandervoort Morris, M.D. They have two daughters, Martha and Cecile, and live in Anniston, Alabama.
