Saturday Morning Sports Injury Clinic

We want to remind you that Anniston Orthopaedics hosts our Saturday Morning Sports Injury Clinic in order to take care of injuries that occur on the field each Fall.

If you have a injury please come to our main location in the Tyler Center on Leighton Avenue at 8AM on Saturday morning. Our team will be there to take care of you.

Regular appointments with our physicians during the week can be made by calling 256-236-4121.

Shawn Seeger

Shawn is a 1989 graduate of Jacksonville High School and 1995 graduate of Jacksonville State University.  He has been a Certified Athletic Trainer for almost three decades, with as many years hands-on experience.    Shawn serves as the Anniston Orthopaedic Sports Medicine Director and provides coverage to 7 high schools in Calhoun County.  When he’s not helping local athletes, Shawn enjoys yard work, traveling, playing golf, hunting and family time.  He and his family reside in Jacksonville.

Katie Neece

Katie Neece is a graduate of White Plains High School and Jacksonville State University.  At White Plains, Katie participated in five varsity sports and at JSU, she worked with the Sports Medicine Department, assisting athletes in Track and Field, Cross Country, Beach and Court Volleyball, Football, Baseball and Softball while obtaining her Batchelor of Science degree in Kinesiology.  While working on her Master’s Degree, she assisted Jacksonville State University’s soccer, track and baseball teams, as well as the football team at the University of Alabama at Birmingham.  Katie also trained with Dr. Douthit and Dr. Kelley at Northeast Orthopaedics, and she provided training assistance at the Manning Passing Academy in Thibodaux, Louisiana in 2021 and 2022.  She began working at Anniston Orthopaedic Associates in the summer of 2020, and she shadowed Dr. Andrew Morris as she worked toward her Master’s Degree in Athletic Training.  She and her husband, Anthony reside in Anniston, Alabama.

Jessica Snider

Jessica holds an esteemed degree in Athletic Training from Florida State University. She further enhanced her expertise by achieving a Master's degree in Sports Management from Jacksonville State University, while also serving as a graduate assistant for the Women's Soccer and Volleyball teams. With a decade of experience in Athletic Training, Jessica has been dedicated to serving the local high school communities in Alabama, predominantly with Munford High School for the past eight years. Currently residing in Anniston with her husband and two children, Jessica is fueled by her passion for sports and her commitment to assisting athletes throughout their journeys. She is dedicated to supporting them during their peak performance moments and guiding them through the process of injury recovery.
